The Wild Bunch: Autumn Wreath Workshop 2020

I was extremely fortunate to have been brought in to document this amazingly beautiful workshop that my old friends from The Wild Bunch held in the old Danby Farm in Aldergrove, BC. It was a beautiful crisp, fall day with (thankfully) no rain. The old barn served as a rustic backdrop to the equally rustic mix of foliage and flowers Nassi and the WB team chose for their participants. I used to work for The Wild Bunch last year as one of their floral assistants, and watching them produce such beautiful creations out of a jumble of flora and foliage made me miss my job as a florist. Luckily, I still get to be part of the team, somewhat, whenever they bring me in to photograph their workshops!

Co-owner, Alexandra, could not supervise this workshop alongside Nassi, so WB’s most senior employee, Renee Mills (herself an extremely talented florist AND ceramicist) took her place. It felt really good to be working alongside my friends again.

The Wild Bunch holds workshops like these seasonally, and they tend to sell out fast; this one sold out in a matter of minutes. To be kept in the loop, make sure to sign up for their newsletter (found on their website), and give them a follow over on their Instagram.

Below are just a fraction of the photographs I took from this magical autumn afternoon. I am sure The Wild Bunch will post their full set on their blog soon, but for now… marvel at the magic.
